Air Freight is the preferred shipping mode for businesses looking for faster shipping of small to medium-sized shipments from China
For small to medium sized shipments from China where speed is the priority, air freight is the preferred mode of shipping from China. For very small shipments which you need to receive in a few days, we can ship by air courier express - DHL, FedEx, UPS, TNT, Aramex etc. Air courier shipments generally take anywhere between 4-6 days and will be delivered all the way to your doorstep. For larger shipments, air courier can be quite expensive and it would therefore be better to ship by either air freight or sea freight.
For larger shipments (a few hundred kg) which you need urgently and cannot wait for sea freight, we can also ship to you via commercial air freight - either to an airport near you or all the way to your doorstep depending on which country you are in. Air freight costs more than sea freight but is considerably faster. Commercial air freight shipments take about 5-8 days depending on which country you will be shipping to and whether your will be shipping to airport or to door.
Customs Clearance is Generally More Straightforward with Air Freight than Sea Freight
If shipping by air courier, the courier will typically manage the customs clearance but may need your assistance in the process. If shipping by air freight to an airport near you, you will need to manage the customs clearance yourself. For shipping by air freight to door, we will manage the customs clearance process for you. Whichever the case, one advantage of air freight over sea freight is that customs clearance for air freight is generally faster and more straightforward.

Importing large shipments is different from importing small shipments. For importing large volumes of goods into your country (or your destination country), you will normally either need an import license (via your registered company) or a customs broker.

For air freight shipping from China to the above countries, CNXtrans can ship all the way to door inclusive of not only customs clearance but customs duties as well (with the exceptions of Australia, New Zealand & Singapore where local customs regulations mean that we will not be able to include customs duties in the shipment)

For air freight shipments to countries like the U.S., Canada, UK, Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Spain, Lithuania (and the rest of the EU), Australia, New Zealand, UAE, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore & Mexico, CNXtrans gives you the option to ship to port or ship all the way to door (full door to door service), although for these countries, we generally strongly recommend shipping to door since it will save you the hassle of customs clearance and also the uncertainty of how much airport fees once your shipment has arrived at the destination airport.
However, if you have experience with shipping by air freight to airport and have an import license or have an established relationship with a customs broker in your country that can manage the customs clearance for you, we can also give you the option of shipping by air freight to airport. If not, we generally recommend shipping by air freight on a door-to-door basis because there are no hidden costs and you have the peace of mind of knowing that the entire door-to-door shipping process will be managed for you.
If you're shipping from China by air freight to a country that is not mentioned above, then it is possible that CNXtrans will only be able to ship to an airport for you as we do not yet have established relationships with customs brokers and local delivery companies in your area. Alternatively you can ship by air courier as well - for air courier shipments to all countries, all shipments are delivered to door.
